David Austin-Gröen - Artistic Director


David has been performing in the Bay area since 1997.   Recent credits include:

Mr. Austin-Gröen studied Meisner technique and received his Master's training from Northern Illinois University. 

Diana Brown - Company Member


In addition to her work with Radiostar, Diana appeared as "Red" in the world premiere of Susan Jackson's solo Blessing Her Heart at the Marin Fringe, winning a Best Actress award from the Bay Area Critics Jury at the Festival and a nomination for the 2008 Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award for Best Solo Work. Other stage credits include Elizabeth in the NYC and SF premieres of Dead Certain with Expression Productions, "Dr. Livingston" in Agnes of God, "Beth" in the world premiere of Box Conspiracy with George Coates Performance Works, "Lucifer" in Barry J. Weir's The Demon Pope. In addition to hosting The Studio Interviews here on the Radiostar Network, Diana was co-host of the popular podcast program The RU Sirius Show on www.mondoglobo.net
Diana is a founding member of the improv ensembles The Legal Briefs and Submergency and of the improvised, multimedia theater company Tilted Frame SF/LA. Diana can be seen as "Amerika Gentry" in the feature film Virtue.

Christopher DeJong - (former) Artistic Director of Improv, Off the Page Sound Engineer, Company Member


Christopher  is an actor and improvisor in San Francisco.  He has cofounded two improv ensembles and appeared with many others since moving there in 2001, and has appeared in scripted plays with Cassandra's Call, the San Francisco Fringe Festival, Bare Bones/First Seen, Center Repertory Company, Alchemy Works, California Conservatory Theater, and others.  He trained in acting and improv in Chicago, studying Meisner technique at the Artistic Home, and improv at Improv Olympic and the Annoyance Theater. 

Dan Ronco - Company Member


Dan is an improviser and educator in the bay area. He began studying improv in Chicago in 2003, and has enjoyed performing it ever since. In addition to working with Radiostar, he has been a troup member of Cool Kids Leave the Party, Quincy, Submergency, and Middle School Poetry (with whom he recently performed in Black Cat, part of the Creepshow series at the Darkroom). When he's not performing, Dan can be seen on a large boat with small children, thoroughly convinced that its 1906.

Dylan Russell - Company Member


Dylan is a professional director, actor and playwright. Favorite productions directed include – Future Me (TheatreFirst), World Music (TheatreFirst), Cassandra (A.C.T.), Aaah! Rosebud (Thunderbird Theatre), Persistent Vegetative State (Dog² Productions), David Ives’ Ancient History (Hannah Productions), Speed-the-Play (Berkeley Rep), as well as adapting & directing two of Roald Dahl’s works, A Lashing of Malice…(Alchemy Works) and the U.S. Premiere of Dahl’s hit children’s book, Matilda (New Conservatory). Dylan was Artistic Director of TheatreFirst and Managing Artistic Director of California Conservatory Theatre. She has served as Assistant Director to Richard E.T. White on numerous productions, including his acclaimed production of Albee’s The Goat or, Who is Sylvia? She is Chair of Visual and Performing Arts as well as head of the Drama program at Jewish Community High School of the Bay. Currently, she is Artistic Director & Co-Founder of Dog² Productions.

Dan Wilson - Executive Producer, Company Member, Improv and Studio Interview Sound Engineer


Dan is the founder of Cassandra's Call Productions, and a member of Triple Shot Productions, and is an actor, playwright, director, filmmaker, puppeteer, and artist. He is the author of In a Distant Country, Pinch, 411, Vagina Dentata, Get it? Got it. Good!, and Sweetie Tanya: the Demon Barista of Valencia Street. His films From Goode to Greate and The Adventures of Tom Sup: The Courage Squad versus The League of Blame are used for leadership training in school districts across California and his short church dramas continue to be performed across the world. He has worked with many ensembles in the San Francisco Bay Area, including C.A.F.E. and Lunatique Fantastique. Dan was on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Improv Cooperative (2004-2005) and performs with Pharmarsupial, The Legal Briefs, Submergency and has appeared as a guest with the Sam Shaw Show, and Improv Revolution.
