Janna Sobel - Company
Member

|
Janna was born
in the desert on the eve of the greatest lightening storm
in Arizona history, and drove out for New York City on the
next biggest one. She studied acting at Tisch, NYU,
at La MaMa Etc, and with founding members of The Performance
Group in NY... and now acts, directs, and teaches creative
performance to young people in San Francisco. Janna
has never participated in a pie-eating contest, has never
synchronized-swam, and never seen a lightening bug. But
she would like to do all three. Her favorite forms
of performance include ministry, drag, and channeling. Her
favorite thing about improvisation is getting to play with
grown-ups.
